Dogs of all ages may be infected with canine parvovirus; and the highest incidence rate can be found among dogs from delactation to 90 days old. Occasionally, pups may suddenly show dyspnea and heart failure. In addition, myocarditis symptoms may occur in a short term, which leads to death of pups. According to species of the involved dogs in clinics, morbidity of purebred and foreign dogs is higher than that of natively bred dogs. Moreover, such a disease can occur all year round; and, its onset can be more frequent in cold weather such as winter and spring. Faeces of sick dogs is the most toxic.
